You misunderstood me. I said "wrong Maxtransfer on SCSI doesn't give
corrupt files as it does on IDE".
Marc is the author of the Amiga version of Samplitude, the Prelude card,
etc. He said:
"BUT if you are using broken SCSI software or an old controller you may
have to set MaxTransfer to 64kB or similiar. This is due to the fact
that _bad_ SCSI controler software blocks the system until the complete
transfer block has been copied to main RAM. This may prevent IRQs from
being executed."
I think he is referring to something like a 2091 without Guru ROM, or
maybe the Squirrel SCSI.
